How to Use this Playbook

This Playbook is a resource designed to be of use to Cooperative Research Centres that are starting up. We have started the construction of this Playbook based on the experience of some of the CRCs that the Rozetta Institute has helped to establish. It is a detailed, step by step guide for what tasks need to be undertaken and in what order, and presents some thoughts on what new CRCs might need to consider as they do so. It is not legal and accounting advice, and professional advice should be sought on all relevant matters. But we hope that this Playbook reduces uncertainty and helps short-cut the process of starting up a large and complex organisation so that your CRC can start delivering value from the first month onwards.

This is a live wiki site and we invite other CRCs to add to this Playbook if they feel they have useful information to add. We would like this to become a collective resource. Content will be moderated to ensure high standards of information and guidance.
